Open our tadalafil shelf and you’ll see four names on four different boxes: Tadalista, Tadacip, Tadarise, Vidalista. Four Indian pharma companies, four colours of cardboard. And inside every one of them — the same 20 mg of tadalafil. That’s not a rumour. It’s on the composition line of every strip.
So why do we stock four? Because customers ask for them by name, because they trust the one their friend used, and because — honestly — the pack sizes and prices don’t line up, which means one of the four is usually the better buy for your order. This is the guide we send when someone emails “which tadalafil should I get?” Read it once and you’ll never need to ask.
The short answer
Pharmacologically, Tadalista 20, Tadacip 20, Tadarise 20 and Vidalista 20 are interchangeable. Same drug, same strength, same 36-hour window, same side effects, same rule about nitrates. Pick on price and pack size. If you want a tie-breaker: Tadarise 20 is the cheapest per tablet at most pack sizes, Vidalista 20 is the one most people already know, and Tadacip is the one made by the largest, most-audited company of the four (Cipla). Tadalista 60 is a different conversation — it’s three times the licensed maximum, and we’ll get to it.
Four boxes, one molecule
Tadalafil is the generic name for the drug Eli Lilly sells as Cialis. It is a PDE5 inhibitor: it blocks the enzyme that breaks down cGMP, the chemical that relaxes blood-vessel muscle in the penis and lets blood in. No arousal, no cGMP, no effect — the tablet only protects a signal your body has to send first. That’s the same for all four brands and for Cialis itself.
What makes tadalafil different from sildenafil (Cenforce, Fildena, Kamagra) is its half-life: about 17.5 hours against sildenafil’s 4. That’s why one tablet gives a useful window of up to 36 hours, why food doesn’t matter much, and why a lot of men who found sildenafil fiddly stop thinking about the clock when they switch. We’ve written the full sildenafil-vs-tadalafil comparison in Vidalista 20 vs Cenforce 100, so this post stays on the tadalafil-vs-tadalafil question.
The 20 mg strength is the maximum on-demand dose. Not the starting dose — that’s 10 mg, which is half a tablet. Every one of the four 20 mg products is scored, so halving is easy.
Who actually makes each one
| Product | Manufacturer | Where | Strip | Also makes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tadalista 20 | Fortune Healthcare | Gujarat, India | 10 tablets | Fildena (sildenafil) |
| Tadacip 20 | Cipla Ltd | Mumbai, India | 4 tablets | Suhagra (sildenafil), a large share of the world’s HIV and asthma generics |
| Tadarise 20 | Sunrise Remedies | Gujarat, India | 10 tablets | Avana (avanafil), Zhewitra (vardenafil) |
| Vidalista 20 | Centurion Laboratories | Gujarat, India | 10 tablets | Cenforce (sildenafil), Vilitra (vardenafil) |
| Tadalista 60 | Fortune Healthcare | Gujarat, India | 10 tablets | — (60 mg strength; see below) |
A word on Cipla, because it matters to some customers. Cipla is a listed company with a long regulatory history — its plants are inspected by the US FDA, the UK MHRA and the WHO. Fortune, Sunrise and Centurion are smaller, export-focused manufacturers licensed by Indian state regulators. All four ship us sealed blisters with batch numbers and expiry dates printed in the foil, and we open every carton before it goes on the shelf. But if “who made it?” is the question that keeps you up, Tadacip is the answer with the most paperwork behind it.
What genuinely differs (and what doesn’t)
We handle all four every day. Here’s the real list, unpadded.
What’s the same
- → Active ingredient: tadalafil 20 mg — identical
- → Onset: 30 minutes to 2 hours, peak around 2 hours
- → Duration: up to 36 hours
- → Side effects: headache, back or muscle ache 12–24 h later, indigestion, flushing, blocked nose
- → Max frequency: one tablet in 24 hours
- → Nitrate rule: absolute, for all of them, for 48 hours after a dose
What differs
- → Film coating and fillers. Each factory uses its own inactive ingredients. Most men notice nothing. A few tell us one brand sits better on the stomach — and they don’t agree on which one.
- → Tablet look. All four are yellow, echoing Cialis, but the shape and embossing vary by maker. Useful for spotting a swapped strip, irrelevant to the effect.
- → Strip size. Tadacip comes in strips of 4, the others in strips of 10. That’s why Tadacip’s pack sizes are 32, 60, 92, 100… and the others’ are 30, 60, 90, 120…
- → Price per tablet. This is the one that should decide your order. Full table below.
Does one “work better”? We get asked weekly, and we won’t pretend. Bioequivalence rules mean each has to deliver the same tadalafil into your blood at the same rate. If Tadarise felt stronger than Vidalista one night, the difference was the night — timing, tiredness, that second glass of wine — not the tablet. If one brand gives you a headache and another doesn’t, that’s real, and it’s the only sensible reason to be brand-loyal here.
Tadalista 60: the one that’s above the label
Tadalista 60 contains 60 mg of tadalafil. The licensed maximum on-demand dose is 20 mg. That’s not a rounding error — it is three times the top dose in every regulator’s leaflet, and no doctor’s guideline recommends it.
We stock it because some men have been told by their own doctor to use higher doses and would rather buy one tablet than three. If that’s not you, don’t start there. We regularly swap a Tadalista 60 order for a 20 mg pack after a short email exchange.
How to take any of them so they work
Since the drug is the same, so are the instructions. In the order that fixes the most “it didn’t work” emails:
- Start with half a tablet (10 mg). That’s the official starting dose. Move up to the full 20 mg only if 10 mg gave a partial result without side effects.
- Give it time. The leaflet says 30 minutes. In practice the peak is closer to 2 hours, and the first few times it’s kinder to take it after lunch for an evening. Nobody minds if it kicks in early.
- Eat what you like. Food has no meaningful effect on tadalafil. This is the biggest practical difference from sildenafil.
- One or two drinks, no more. Alcohol drops blood pressure and causes its own ED. Tadalafil doesn’t cancel that.
- One tablet in 24 hours. Because it lasts a day and a half, there’s no reason for a second one. Taking one on Friday and another on Saturday stacks blood levels.
- Expect it on Sunday morning. First-time customers email us on day two to check whether it’s normal that it still works. It is. That’s the product.
- Judge it over three tries, not one. First-night pressure sinks a lot of first tablets. So does grapefruit juice, which raises tadalafil levels — skip it.
Talk to a doctor first if you’ve had a heart attack or stroke in the last six months, have unstable angina, very low or uncontrolled high blood pressure, severe liver or kidney disease, a history of sudden vision loss (NAION), retinitis pigmentosa, sickle cell, or Peyronie’s disease.
Price per tablet, from our own shelves
This is the section that should actually decide it. Prices are our live ones; the odd pack sizes are the manufacturers’ doing, not ours.
| Pack | Tadalista 20 | Tadacip 20 | Tadarise 20 | Vidalista 20 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30 tablets | $174.99 ($5.83) | 32 tabs: $179.99 ($5.62) | $174.99 ($5.83) | $174.99 ($5.83) |
| 60 tablets | $259.99 ($4.33) | $259.99 ($4.33) | $259.99 ($4.33) | $259.99 ($4.33) |
| 90 tablets | $344.99 ($3.83) | 92 tabs: $350.99 ($3.82) | $344.99 ($3.83) | $344.99 ($3.83) |
| 100 tablets | — | $373.99 ($3.74) | — | — |
| 120 tablets | $429.99 ($3.58) | $429.99 ($3.58) | $429.99 ($3.58) | $429.99 ($3.58) |
| 150 tablets | $515.99 ($3.44) | — | $515.99 ($3.44) | $515.99 ($3.44) |
| 180 tablets | $600.99 ($3.34) | — | $600.99 ($3.34) | $600.99 ($3.34) |
| 200 tablets | — | $657.99 ($3.29) | — | — |
| 300 tablets | $941.99 ($3.14) | $941.99 ($3.14) | $941.99 ($3.14) | $941.99 ($3.14) |
| 360 tablets | — | — | — | $1,111.99 ($3.09) |
Three things jump out of that table, and we’d rather say them than have you find them:
- → Tadarise 20 is the cheapest per tablet at 30, 60, 90 and 120. Not by a fortune — a few dollars a pack — but consistently.
- → Bigger is cheaper per tablet across all four brands. The 30-packs sit near $5.83 a tablet, the 150-packs near $3.44 and the 300-packs at $3.14. Check the per-tablet figure on the product page before you order.
- → Tadacip is the dearest of the four at every size, by 15–30 percent. You’re paying for Cipla’s name and inspection record. Some customers think that’s worth it; the tadalafil doesn’t know the difference.
Delivery is free and tracked on every order to our supported countries, as does Vidalista’s 300 or 360. If you use one tablet a week, a 90-pack is nearly two years — buy 300 and the expiry date, not your usage, becomes the limit.

How to choose without overthinking it
Our honest rule: buy the cheapest one at the pack size you want, unless you have a reason not to. Reasons not to, in the order we hear them:
- → “I’ve used Vidalista before and it suited me.” Then stay with Vidalista. Never fix what works, and the 300-pack is the cheapest of anything on the shelf anyway.
- → “I want the biggest, most-inspected manufacturer.” Tadacip, from Cipla. Pay the premium with a clear conscience.
- → “One brand upset my stomach.” Try another — the coatings differ and this is the one legitimate reason for brand loyalty with generics.
- → “I also buy sildenafil.” Keeping to one maker (Tadalista + Fildena, Vidalista + Cenforce, Tadarise + Zhewitra) makes the blisters easy to tell apart in the drawer. Minor, but real.
What we’d put in a first-timer’s box: Tadarise 20, 30 tablets, $174.99. Halve them to start — 60 doses at 10 mg for under three dollars each. Size up to the 150 or 300 later if it suits you. Prefer the name you’ve heard of? Vidalista 20 costs the same and nobody’s wrong for choosing it.
Questions we get asked
Is Tadalista the same as Vidalista?
At the level that matters, yes. Both are tadalafil 20 mg, made under Indian generic licences by Fortune Healthcare (Tadalista) and Centurion Laboratories (Vidalista). They must deliver the same dose at the same rate. The film coating, tablet shape and price differ; the effect does not.
Which is stronger: Tadacip, Tadarise or Tadalista?
None of them. All three contain 20 mg of tadalafil, so a full tablet of any one gives the same dose. “Stronger” only means something when the milligram number changes — and 20 mg is already the maximum on-demand dose. Feeling a difference between brands on different nights is almost always the night, not the tablet.
Is Tadalista 60 safe?
It contains 60 mg of tadalafil, three times the licensed maximum of 20 mg. Above 20 mg, the added dose mostly adds side effects — back pain, headache, a bigger blood-pressure drop — and no guideline recommends it. Only use it under specific medical advice. If 20 mg isn’t working, see a doctor rather than going up.
Why does Tadacip come in packs of 32 and 92?
Cipla packs Tadacip in strips of 4 tablets, not 10, so packs are built from multiples of 4: 32, 60, 92, 100, 120, 200, 300. The other three brands come in strips of 10 — hence 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 300. It’s a packaging quirk, nothing more.
Can I switch from Vidalista to Tadarise without a gap?
Yes. It’s the same molecule at the same strength, so there is nothing to wash out. Just keep to one tablet in 24 hours regardless of which brand it is. If you’re switching from sildenafil to tadalafil, leave 24 hours; from tadalafil to sildenafil, leave 48.
Which tadalafil brand is cheapest?
At our current prices Tadalista 20, Tadarise 20 and Vidalista 20 are priced identically at every shared size (from $5.83 a tablet at 30 down to $3.14 at 300). Tadacip, in Cipla’s packs of 32, 92 and 100, lands within a few cents of them. Prices move, so check the per-tablet figure on each product page before ordering.
What to do now
If you’ve talked to a doctor and tadalafil is the plan, stop comparing coatings. Open the Tadarise 20 page for the cheapest 30-pack, or the Vidalista 20 page if you’d rather the familiar name and the cheapest 300-pack; halve the first tablet, take it after lunch, and expect it to still be working tomorrow. Skip Tadalista 60 unless your own doctor put you on 60 mg. And if you take anything for your heart or blood pressure, sort that conversation first. Stuck between two boxes? Email us — we’ll tell you which one we’d pack, any hour.
