Cenforce vs Fildena vs Kamagra vs Suhagra: four sildenafil 100 brands compared

Four boxes, four colours, four names — and one molecule. Cenforce, Fildena, Kamagra and Suhagra are all 100 mg of sildenafil citrate, the generic of Viagra, and between them they account for most of the sildenafil that leaves our warehouse. We stock all four on the same shelf, and we still get asked every week which one is “strongest”.

None of them. The real differences are who makes it, what the tablet looks like, how it’s packed, and above all what it costs per tablet at the pack size you’ll actually buy. The pharmacology isn’t one of them.

The short answer

Pharmacologically these four are interchangeable: 100 mg sildenafil citrate, same onset, same duration, same side effects, same 100 mg daily maximum. What you’re choosing is a manufacturer, a tablet shape, a pack format and a price. If you already use one and it suits you, stay with it. Choosing fresh? Cenforce or Fildena for the widest range of 10-tablet packs, Suhagra for Cipla’s name on the foil and the lowest price per tablet on certain packs, Kamagra if you like 4-tablet blisters or want the jelly version in the same family.

Who makes each one

This matters most for trust, because the maker is what the batch number on the foil traces back to.

Cipla and Ajanta are the two you may have heard of outside this niche: Cipla is one of India’s largest pharmaceutical companies and exports to regulated markets worldwide; Ajanta is a listed company with a big export business. Centurion and Fortune are smaller, ED-focused makers that have been at it for well over a decade. All four print batch and expiry into the foil. We’ve opened thousands of each. Does a bigger company mean a better tablet? Not in any way we can measure. It means a longer track record and, for some men, peace of mind — a fair reason to pick Suhagra, not a reason to expect it to work differently.

What they look like and how they’re packed

Because the tablets are different colours and shapes, first-time buyers occasionally email to ask whether they’ve been sent the wrong thing. Here’s what should be in the envelope.

The 10-versus-4 format is a genuine practical difference. Four-tablet blisters slip into a wallet or wash bag without advertising themselves — several customers buy Suhagra for travel and Cenforce for home for exactly that reason. All four halve easily, and 50 mg is the official starting dose, so half a tablet is the sensible first try with any of them. Fildena’s triangle is the fiddliest — use a pill cutter.

Price per tablet at comparable packs

Suhagra’s odd packs are the cheapest sildenafil we sell

Suhagra comes in Cipla’s four-tablet blisters, so its packs run 32, 40, 60, 80, 92, 120 and 300: 40 tablets for $123.99 ($3.10), 80 for $157.99 ($1.97) and 300 for $344.99 ($1.15). Per tablet it lands within a few cents of Cenforce and Fildena at every size, so choose it for the Cipla name and the small blisters rather than for price.

What actually differs (and what doesn’t)

Let’s be precise, because the forums aren’t. To be sold as sildenafil 100 mg, a tablet has to contain 100 mg of sildenafil citrate and release it into the bloodstream at the same rate as the reference product. That is the definition of a generic. So all four share the same onset (30–60 minutes, peak around one hour), the same useful window (roughly 4–5 hours, half-life about 4 hours), the same food effect (a heavy, fatty meal delays every one of them), the same side effects, the same 100 mg-in-24-hours maximum, and the same absolute rule about nitrates.

What is genuinely different is the inactive part — the coating, the binders, the dye. Those excipients can, for some men, change how the tablet sits on the stomach, which is the kernel of truth behind “Fildena is smoother” or “Cenforce hits harder”. It is individual, it is small, and it goes both ways: we hear both opinions about every brand on this page. If one gives you indigestion, trying another is reasonable. Expecting a different result in the bedroom isn’t.

The instructions are identical too — an hour before, light stomach, a drink or two at most, arousal required — and so are the reasons first orders “don’t work”; the Cenforce 100 guide covers them. Side effects and who must not take sildenafil

Same list for all four, caused by the same blood-vessel relaxation that makes the drug work: headache (roughly one man in six), facial flushing, a blocked nose, indigestion, dizziness on standing, and a temporary blue tint or extra light sensitivity in vision. Rare but serious: a prolonged erection, and a sudden vision loss called NAION.

Talk to a doctor first if you’ve had a heart attack or stroke in the last six months, have unstable angina, very low or uncontrolled high blood pressure, severe liver or kidney disease, a previous NAION, sickle-cell anaemia, or you take alpha-blockers (tamsulosin, doxazosin — the doses need spacing). Cenforce 150/200 and Fildena 150 sit above the 100 mg licensed maximum: only under medical advice, and even then more milligrams mostly means more headache.

How to choose between the four

Since the tablets are the same drug, choose on the things that are actually different:

Our opinion: for a first order with no preference, Cenforce 100 in the 30-pack, because the scored strips are easiest to halve and the pricing ladder is the most flexible when you reorder. For a repeat buyer who wants the lowest cost, the 300-packs of Cenforce, Fildena or Suhagra at $344.99 ($1.15 a tablet) are hard to argue with. We’ve never seen a customer switch brands and get a different result — only a different colour.

Questions we get asked

Is Cenforce stronger than Fildena, Kamagra or Suhagra?

No. All four contain 100 mg of sildenafil citrate and have to release it at the same rate as Viagra to be sold as generics. Onset, duration, peak and side effects are the same. Differences in “strength” people report are individual reactions to the coating, first-night nerves, or dinner.

Which sildenafil 100 brand is cheapest?

They are priced almost identically. Cenforce 100 and Fildena 100 are $114.99 for 30, $165.99 for 90, $242.99 for 180 and $344.99 for 300 ($1.15 a tablet). Suhagra and Kamagra land within a few cents per tablet at their nearest sizes, so pick by blister format and maker rather than price.

Why is Kamagra sold in packs of 28, 32, 40 rather than 30?

Because Ajanta packs it in 4-tablet blister cards, so every pack is a multiple of four. Suhagra is packed the same way by Cipla. Cenforce and Fildena come in 10-tablet strips, which is why their packs run 30, 60, 90.

Can I switch from one brand to another?

Yes, freely — same drug, same dose. Keep the same rule of one tablet per 24 hours across brands; don’t take a Cenforce in the evening because a Suhagra “didn’t work” at lunchtime. If a particular coating upsets your stomach, switching brand is a fair thing to try.

Is Kamagra legal and is it real?

Kamagra is a licensed product in India from Ajanta Pharma; like the other three it is not licensed in the EU or UK, and import rules vary by country. The name is widely counterfeited. Genuine Kamagra arrives in Ajanta’s printed 4-tablet blisters with batch and expiry, never loose.

Which one should a first-timer buy?

Any of them, at half a tablet, an hour before, on a light stomach. We usually point first orders to Cenforce 100 or Fildena 100 because the 10-tablet scored strips halve cleanly and the 30-pack at $114.99 is a low-commitment way to find out whether sildenafil suits you.
