How to buy generic ED medicines online without getting scammed

Every week someone forwards us a photo of tablets they bought somewhere else. Blue pills in a zip-lock bag. A strip with the batch number on a sticker instead of pressed into the foil. A “Cenforce” box with the Centurion logo the wrong shade of green. They want to know if it’s real. We can’t tell from a photo — and that’s the point. If you have to ask, you’ve already lost the thing you paid for.

Generic ED medicines from India are legitimate products from licensed factories. The scam isn’t the generic. The scam is the layer of resellers between the factory and your door, and the ones who cut corners look, at first glance, identical to the ones who don’t. Ten minutes here and you’ll know how to tell them apart.

The problem isn’t generics. It’s loose pills.

Regulators who test seized “Viagra” find the same three failures: too little active ingredient, too much, or something else entirely — printer ink, plaster, occasionally a different drug. What they almost never find is a fake inside an intact, factory-sealed blister from a known Indian manufacturer. Counterfeiting a blister is expensive. Counterfeiting a loose blue tablet is not.

So the most useful rule is short. Buy the strip, not the pill. Any seller offering loose tablets, “bulk pouches” or repackaged bottles has removed the only evidence you had. Even if the tablets are genuine, you can no longer prove it, check the expiry, or trace the batch if something goes wrong.

What a real sealed blister looks like

We open hundreds of boxes a week. This is what we check before a strip goes into a parcel. Hold any seller’s product photo against it — and if they won’t show you the back of the strip, that tells you something too.

1. Foil printing that is part of the foil. Product name, strength, manufacturer and composition are printed onto the aluminium in a repeating pattern. It doesn’t scratch off. A paper label on plain silver foil is wrong.
2. Batch number and expiry pressed or printed in, not stickered. Centurion and Fortune emboss theirs along one edge; Ajanta and Cipla print them in black. No batch, no trust.
3. Dates that make sense. Most Indian ED generics carry a 2–3 year shelf life. A strip “made” four years ago with a fresh expiry isn’t right.
4. Every pocket intact. No re-sealed pockets, no glue, no odd-coloured tablet.
5. Tablets that match the brand. Cenforce 100 is a blue round scored tablet. Fildena 100 is purple and triangular. Vidalista 20 is yellow. Kamagra 100 is a green-blue diamond. Wrong tablet in the right foil — stop.
6. A carton with the same batch as the strip. Mismatched batches mean a reused box.
7. A “Schedule H” prescription-only line in small print. Indian law requires it; its absence means the printer never had to satisfy a regulator.

Six manufacturer names to recognise

Almost every genuine generic ED tablet sold internationally comes from a short list of Indian companies. Learn the pairs and a lot of nonsense becomes obvious — a “Cenforce made by Ajanta” is a red flag on its own.

Not on that list: “Made in EU”, “Pfizer generic”, “US pharmacy grade”. A seller who won’t name the manufacturer before you order is hiding either ignorance or the answer.

Red flags in a shop

Customers ask us “is this one OK?” about other sites often enough that we’ve learned the patterns behind the “my parcel never came” emails.

• → No manufacturer named — just “Generic Viagra 100 mg”.
• → Loose tablets, or a count that isn’t a multiple of the strip. Cenforce comes in 10s. A pack of 25 didn’t come from Centurion.
• → Stock photos of the branded product on a page selling a generic.
• → Strengths that don’t exist. Sildenafil “250 mg”, tadalafil “100 mg”. Nobody licensed makes them.
• → Countdown timers, “only 3 left”, “127 people viewing”.
• → A card checkout on a site with no address, no shipping policy, no human reply.
• → Prices below the factory floor. Sildenafil at $0.20 a tablet is either not sildenafil or not arriving.

One of these and we’d be cautious. Three and we’d walk.

Why price per tablet matters more than the headline

Headline prices are designed to be compared. Price per tablet is what you actually pay. A shop that shows “$114.99” without the count, or buries it in a dropdown, is betting you won’t do the maths. We put the per-tablet figure next to every pack so you can catch us if we get it wrong, and so the bulk discounts are honest. Cenforce 100, from our shelf today:

Spot the thing sellers don’t want you to spot: the 200-pack is cheaper than the 180-pack, because they come from different strip bundles. We don’t hide it. 4. Know your own country’s rules. Personal import is tolerated in many places, restricted in some, prohibited in a few. We ship worldwide; we don’t know every local law.

Seven things to ask support before you pay

The cheapest test there is. Email before ordering. The reply — or the silence — tells you more than any homepage.

1. “Which manufacturer makes the Vidalista 20 you ship?” — Centurion Laboratories. Anything vaguer is a problem.
2. “What batch and expiry are you shipping now?” — a real warehouse answers in a sentence.
3. “Sealed original blisters, in the manufacturer’s carton?”
4. “What happens if customs seizes it?” — you want “reship or refund”, in those words.
5. “How is the parcel labelled?”
6. “How do I pay, and is anything charged on the site?”
7. “Can I get a photo of the strip before it ships?” — we say yes. Watch how others react.

A human reply within a day, answering all seven without a sales pitch, is what good looks like. Templates, evasion, “order now” instead of an answer — walk.

Why we email payment options instead of charging cards

This confuses first-time customers. When you check out at MediAxiss, nothing is charged on the website. Questions we get asked

Are Indian generic ED medicines real?

Yes, when they come from a licensed manufacturer in sealed original blisters. Centurion, Fortune, Ajanta, Cipla and Sunrise are regulated by Indian drug authorities and make the same active ingredients as the branded products. The risk isn’t the generic; it’s resellers who repackage, substitute, or sell loose tablets that can’t be traced to a batch.

How can I tell if a Cenforce or Vidalista strip is fake?

Look at the back. Genuine Centurion strips have the product name and manufacturer printed into the foil and a batch number and expiry embossed along one edge. The tablet must match the brand — blue round for Cenforce 100, yellow for Vidalista 20. Stickers, missing batch numbers or mismatched tablets mean don’t take them.

Why don’t you charge my card on the website?

Because it’s safer for you and more reliable for us. After checkout we email the payment options that currently work — PayPal, Wise or Remitly — so no card details are stored on our site, and a person reviews the order before payment. It’s a few hours slower than one-click, but nothing can be stolen from a server that holds nothing.

Will customs stop my parcel?

Most parcels clear without inspection; a minority are opened and a few are held. If yours is lost or seized we reship or refund, as written in our shipping policy. Keep the quantity to personal use, use your real name and address, and check your own country’s personal-import rules before ordering.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 10 to 18 working days by tracked registered post, depending on destination and the customs queue. You get a tracking number at dispatch. If it stalls for more than a week at one hub, email us and we’ll chase it from our end.

Is the cheapest site always a scam?

Not always, but prices well below the factory floor are a warning. Genuine sildenafil 100 mg has a real cost; our largest packs reach about $1.10 a tablet and that’s near the limit. A site offering it at a fraction of that is either not shipping, not shipping sildenafil, or shipping loose tablets you can’t verify.
